Faery Wings
I love faery wings!
I would go to festivals and see huge fairy wings for $30- $50 bucks and wanted a pair so bad when I was little , but being small my parents wouldn't spend that much on me . Now that I am (uh hum) "bigger" I still love them and so does my 'little one', so I devised and inexpensive way to make them.
they are light weight wings made from acrylic paint and left over wrappings giving them a color catching translucent look and a rubbery feel. The light weight design is strengthened by wire skeleton making the wings bend able and durable but light enough to pin to the back of clothing without damage.
